Greetings from beautiful Key Largo.
We were greeted by a drenching squall as we left the harbor, however it passed before we reached our first stop. Our reward for driving on through the drenching was a full rainbow over Key Largo. We had the Boys from Georgia again this morning to continue their underwater Safari. Once again, our hunters had to protect their catch from a menacing Nurse Shark. A full fish cooler at the end of the morning spoke to their prowess with the spear though. Our afternoon group welcomed Bill and Forrest along with the return of our new friends from New Jersey, Brett and Lisa, with Liz and John from New York, continuing their Scuba adventure. We went to Molasses Reef, Permit Ledge. This sight never fails to deliver big animals. A very large Grey Reef shark swam circles to entertain us and Aja introduced everyone to Bandit, the Colossal Grouper. For the second dive we went to explore Sign Post Reef, just north of Molasses. Lots of fish every where and some lobsters to get us excited about the up coming lobster season!
Thanks for diving with us today, we hope to see you again soon!
